Role Overview
As an Interviewer for Metal Express Radio, you will have the exciting opportunity to conduct interviews with established and emerging metal and hard rock artists. You will play a key role in bringing our audience unique insights into the world of metal music through engaging conversations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews with metal and hard rock musicians, both in-person and via phone/Zoom.
- Prepare thoughtful and engaging interview questions.
- Conduct in-person interviews at concerts and other events, as opportunities arise.
- Record and edit interviews for publication on the Metal Express Radio website.
- Maintain a professional and engaging demeanor during interviews.
- Meet deadlines for interview submissions.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and passion for metal and hard rock music.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct engaging and insightful interviews.
- Proficiency in using recording software and devices.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Access to reliable phone/Zoom and recording equipment.
Compensation
- This is a volunteer position.
