In 1995, Geezer Butler released the debut album, Plastic Planet, with his new band GZR (also known as G//Z/R and Geezer). Two years later he returned with Black Science, but this time the band was simply called Geezer. That needed some explanation and Geezer tells what happened in this 1997 interview. He also talked about getting Fear Factory vocalist Burton C. Bell on the first album, and why he didn’t stick around for the next. The Black Sabbath reunion was still up in the air, while Geezer felt like playing to the dead in the United States.
