Formed in the fall of 2016, Rat Rod is the father/son duo of Mark and Brice McCarty on lead and rhythm guitars respectively, Mike Smith on vocals, LJ on Bass. and Harry Rosa on drums. These Philadelphia area musicians have a true love and respect for old-school Rock ‘n Roll and R&B, as passed through the conduit of Australian stalwarts AC/DC, Rose Tattoo, The Angels, Jet, and Airbourne, with a dose of GN’R thrown in just for good measure. You will find in Rat Rod a band of individuals who pay homage to the music by staying true to the formula, yet adding their own twist and sensibilities.

This Friday the band take over the airwaves at Metal Express Radio to play ten of their favorite and most influential Hard Rock tracks. After the show we will play a selection of songs off their rereleased album Four on the Floor.

The Friday Guest DJ Hour Show airs at the following times:

15:00 and 21:00 Central Europe
9:00 am and 3:00 pm US East Coast
6:00 am and 12:00 pm US West Coast
