This Friday’s Guest DJ: OFFICER X

This Friday’s Guest DJ is from the Boston based quartet Officer X . The band is a spirited throwback to the glory days of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, where soaring eagles fly high and swords cut deep. Inspired by the New Wave Of Traditional Heavy Metal that combines the majesty of Maiden, the dream world of Dio, and the power of Priest, Officer X harnesses the anthemic music that shaped us from the very beginning as a means to blast an exciting new path forward.

Officer X has unleashed their debut album Hell Is Coming! “We are listening to these recordings again after a long break, and it’s good stuff,” admits van Stoli. “There’s a side of the band that people haven’t heard yet, and it will be great to get that feedback. One of the best things about it is that it sets us up to finalize a new batch of tunes. We have progressed as musicians and songwriters in the last few years, and I am excited about where we are going.”

On the Guest DJ Show this Friday, vocalist/guitarist Rodrigo van Stoli of Officer X will each play 10 of his favorite Hard Rock/Heavy Metal songs for you. After his playlist, we’ll play a handful of tracks off their latest release, Hell Is Coming.

The Friday Guest DJ Hour Show airs at the following times:

15:00 and 21:00 Central Europe
9:00 am and 3:00 pm US East Coast
6:00 am and 12:00 pm US West Coast
