( votes)I always bought the Nightwish CD’s, though I don’t play them that regularly. There’s a lot of good music, but I still didn’t get used to the operatic singing. I put them on my shelves, in case I do one day… Anyway, this CD has a cover of Gary Moore’s “Over The Hills…”, and a piece written by English composer Howard Blake, as well as a few new songs, a remake of “Astral Romance” from the debut, and live tracks. So now you can stop wondering why I didn’t give out points, as I never do to albums like this. There’s plenty of good songs here, the ballad “Away” is beautiful, and the Moore cover is done with much success. Nightwish is by all means a unique band, and the clones have already appeared. I always thought the band was a bit hyped, but I think now it is time to reconsider that… Anyway, throw in a picture of Tarja in the booklet next time, please!
