( votes)I am sick and tired of all the tribute albums, and I put most of the blame on Bob Kulick and his terribly lack of understanding in the artists whom he has saluted. Therefore, I am now happy to tell you, you can throw all your tribute discs out the window, as here is the only CD worth your dimes. You find a lot of unknown bands on this CD, unless you’re the king of the underground, but that doesn’t make the quality any less. It’s hard to find a winner amongst these bands, but maybe I would put Mayadome from Sweden on top of my list. Their version of the mighty ”Neue Regel” is very interesting. The band managed to stick to the basic, as well as giving the song their own identity. The material is songs from the legendary EP, up until 1995’s ”Promised Land”, still with most bands covering the Rÿche’s earliest days. I think this CD will please any old school Queensrÿche fan.
