Metal Maiden Speaks
One of the fastest rising bands to come out of Europe is Burning Witches, an all-female lineup that plays Old School Heavy Metal like it was brand new and fresh. The band has been working on the 4th full-length album, several videos and plans a live stream event for the album release. Metal Express Radio’s Bryce Van Patten caught up with lead singer Laura Guldemond to talk about the new album Witch of the North which comes out May 28th on Nuclear Blast Records, newest member Larissa Ernst, the band’s cover of Savatage’s “Hall of The Mountain King”, and what 2021 holds for Burning Witches and their fans.

Criss Oliva played the best version of Hall of the Mountain King I have ever heard. It was a pleasant surprise when I heard Burning Witches cover. I think BW is awesome !! I have only been listening to them for a few days now and I am very impressed.
