Pleonexia is a ‘philosophic metal’ band from Italy – a mix of ’80s hard rock and heavy metal with strong epic influences and lyrics that encompass philosophical subjects.
The project was born in 2012 from the one-man-band Michele Da Pila (vocals, guitars, keyboard) and currently consists also of Andrea Autiero (guitars), Edoardo Barbero (guitars), Andrea Borlengo (bass), Lorenzo Luca (keyboards) and Daniele Ferro Milon (drums). The debut album Break All Chains was released in 2014. In 2019 they finished the production of their second album Virtute e Canoscenza, released in February 2020.
