Graal is a quintet out of Italy, and their latest release is entitled Chapter IV.  Graal has grown from album to album, with the result being a highly polished, well-produced Progressive Hard Rock album in Chapter IV.  The vocals delivered by Andrea Ciccomartino are smooth and soothing, not so dissimilar to what you have heard from Progressive Rock stalwarts Pink Floyd, with the big difference being Graal’s harder-edged music.  Overall, the songs are well-written with all of the melodies, rhythms, and musical interludes well-placed and skillfully delivered.  Overall a solid and enjoyable effort — a real treat for Progressive fans.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
