( votes)If you like to grab your guitar and jam along with songs, good luck. Diego Reali brings his A-game and leads this Italian Metal group with his ultra-fast axe virtuosity. If their name sounds familiar, these guys went sans-H in 2011 as Evidence, releasing a record on a similar level.
As their current Hevidence, Nobody’s Fault slips a little Power Metal into the Traditional sound. Singer Corrado Quoiani has a voice for anthems with a good range and plenty of stamina. Reali does a good job of displaying his talent on the guitar without showing off too much. He sticks mostly to sweeping arpeggios and scales, but puts forth some Bluesy sounds—and even Jazz—with the aid of the fluid rhythm section. In fact, at points Hevidence sounds like a lively club band. The last track is a nice Neo-classical instrumental, which seems to be what Reali was waiting for. Maybe he’ll release a solo record of just that. Until then, indulge in this ear candy and enjoy the sweetness of a finely-played guitar.
