( votes)Iron Curtain is a band that started in the late 2000’s, but can be easily mistaken for a far more seasoned group. Their groove resembles Motörhead with some Speed and Thrash thrown in. If blue jeans and spikes are your swag, these guys from Spain have you covered. Their new album Guilty As Charged gives you nothing fake, bringing straightforward and honest Metal while you work on your Camaro.
Nobody shows off on purpose, but all of the members seem to know their instruments well and have no trouble producing whatever level of talent a song requires. Still, the rhythm section stands out—especially Alberto’s drumming. It’s not only his double-bass, but his complex arrangements using his full kit that display his breakneck ability. That guy’s metabolism must be off the charts.
This is Iron Curtain’s third full-length release and nicely compliments their previous albums. For some upfront, headbanging Metal, Guilty As Charged is sure to please.
