Delain hails from the Netherlands, and in 2016 the band celebrates their 10-year anniversary. And, what better way is there to commemorate that accomplishment than to issue their 5th studio release: Moonbathers. Certainly the incredibly talented vocalist Charlotte Wessels has driven Delain’s rise to the top of the Symphonic Metal charts, and her eerie yet seductive tones are both soothing and invigorating at the same time … fitting so well with the album’s title. You may find a few surprises contained in Moonbathers, but by and large if you’re a fan of Delain’s first 4 albums, then this release is sure to please.

He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
