Dark Witch hails from Brazil, and after fighting the good fight for a number of years, they finally landed a record deal in 2015.  The end product was The Circle Of Blood, which is a blend between Power, Traditional, and Epic Metal.  Unfortunately, none of those 3 subgenres of Metal are well-represented by Dark Witch.  With lyrical themes addressing the occult, mythology, and historical events, the music – vocal mix comes across disorganized and out of sync, and the album basically comes across as mayhem with a drumbeat.  There’s plenty of passion within this Dark Witch album … unfortunately, though, there’s also limited talent.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
