Sweden’s Solution .45 is set to release Part II of the Nightmares In The Waking State 2-part story line. The band plays a variable mix of Death, Modern, and Progressive Metal, however, their Death Metal vocal approach tends to manhandle the other subgenres.

Their Progressive tendencies are introduced more so when melodic vocals carry song segments, and are quite frankly very “refreshing” and well done. There’s solid musicianship abound in Part II to admire and let soak in, however, if Cookie Monster growls are not your cup of tea, then chances are you should probably stay away from this Solution .45 release.
