North Carolina, USA-based Widow is back with a vengeance via the release of their 5^th full-length studio album entitled Carved In Stone. For Traditional Metal enthusiasts, this album pretty much has “it all”. There are plenty of great riffs, crunching power chords, thunderous drumming, and a very capable vocalist in John E. Wooten IV leading the charge at the microphone. The album’s 12 tracks offer enjoyable and “fresh-sounding” Metal that is sure to capture your attention and keep it for the 50-minute duration of Carved In Stone. From an Old School Metal perspective, this release is one of 2016’s best.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album.
