Last Days Of Eden have come to Ride The World from their epicenter of Spain. They play a blend of Symphonic Metal with a few evident Folk and Celtic influences. As observed from the album cover, there is a beautiful woman walking in the snow (no coat) along with a few white wolves … this metaphorical image sums up the band’s musical soundscape within Ride The World – vocalist Lady Ani dominates the album, and the music resonates as rather forlorn, methodical, and frigid. The album comes through a bit sterile, and would have benefited from a few doses of get-up-and-go.

    Dan is a former partner at Metal Express Radio, and also served as a reviewer, photographer and interviewer on occasions. Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album.
