Kickin Valentina are out of Atlanta, Georgia, USA, and Super Atomic is their first full-length release. The band plays a gritty form of Sleaze Metal, if you will, coupled with a little Biker Metal and Blues. The album starts out very strong showing the band has found a formula that can work quite well to appeal to a wide array of Hard Rock and Metal fans.

However, the 2nd half of the album becomes repetitive and the lyrics less imaginative. That said, Super Atomic is a promising effort from a band that just needs a little polishing around the edges.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
