( vote)Ugly Kid Joe’s Whitfield Crane served as the poster child bridging Glam and Funk Metal with Grunge, walking tall in the ‘90s playground of Heavy Rock music with mega-hits from their America’s Least Wanted album. Now 20 years later, Crane and company dish out massive helpings of humble pie with Uglier Than They Used Ta Be. This album deals with the collateral damage suffered and opportunities squandered while the band meandered through prior successes. If you’re feeling suicidal, this album’s for you … for everyone else, you’d be better off to just keep the memories of this band’s heyday intact.
