Trivium is a Florida-USA based Modern Metal band, and Silence In The Snow is their 7^th release to date (and an ironic title to say the least – 90+% of all native Floridians have never seen snow other than on TV and Christmas cards).

Trivium have earned success over the years and rose to the top of the Alternative/Modern Metal spectrum by no accident. This recording is clean, catchy, and even incorporates some tasty guitar solo work (often largely ignored in this arena). Silence In The Snow comes across as a Volbeat-meets-Kings X mixture, and is certainly worthy of your attention.

Dan is a former partner at Metal Express Radio, and also served as a reviewer, photographer and interviewer on occasions. Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
