Black Star Riders duo to tour the UK in September
With the Black Star Riders currently on a break between tours lead singer Ricky Warwick and guitarist Damon Johnson are not about to sit back and take a well-earned rest. Instead they are due to hit the road in the UK for a series of special, intimate acoustic shows highlighting the best of their extensive back catalogue.
With a collective history spent writing, recording and touring with Alice Cooper, Thin Lizzy, The Almighty, Brother Cain, New Model Army, Stiff Little Fingers and Slave to the System as well as Black Star Riders, the band formed from the final touring version of Thin Lizzy, Johnson and Warwick have a wealth of material to draw from and the stripped down, acoustic shows will be a rare chance to catch them up close and personal before they re-join Black Star Riders ahead of their UK arena tour with Whitesnake and Def Leppard in December.
Ricky Warwick and Damon Johnson’s acoustic tour starts on Wednesday 9th September at Arizona in Sunderland and finishes on 26th September at the Diamond Rock Club in Ballymena.
