Laugh At The Fakes (LATF) is an oddly named band out of Ontario, Canada, and Dethrone The Crown is their debut full length release. With a name like LATF, you’d probably expect some eccentric, off-beat, quasi-Progressive Rock band that tries to mesh Hard Rock Pop a la Green Day with the whimsical nonsense brought about by the likes of Tiny Tim. But you couldn’t be more wrong… LATF has created something fresh by combining Traditional, Thrash, and Progressive Metal into well thought out and produced melodies and musical passages. Clean, crisp, tight, and unique… check this band out!

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
