Blood God is a fairly new band and their release du jour is entitled Blood Is My Trademark. Stylistically, Blood God plays an aggressive, brash style of Metal that borders between Traditional and Thrash. If anything, with Mr. Debauchery’s gritty and raspy vocal style, Blood God sounds like a cross between Brian Johnson-era AC/DC and Overkill. Lyrically, the band leans toward topics that fit their album’s title – blood, guts and battles are sensationalized and celebrated, which from the get-go may not be for everyone. However, mixed with the gore is some quality songwriting and (believe it or not) catchy melodies.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
