Blood & Iron are a Traditional Metal band with Power and Epic Metal qualities mixed into their 3rd studio release, entitled Voices Of Eternity. Overall, the band takes a pretty straight-forward approach to their brand of Metal. Not all too common, Blood & Iron hail from India, so to prevent what could be a nasty vocal accent, the band brought in Giles Lavery from the Australian band Dragonsclaw to handle the microphone duties. Overall, there’s plenty to enjoy, but Lavery tends to sing in the same range in virtually every song, which makes most tracks sound too similar and unrefined.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
