Vicious Rumors are a “Power Metal Institution” in the USA, and to celebrate their 35-year anniversary, Geoff Thorpe and the boys are releasing Live You To Death 2 – American Punishment. Containing 13 tracks recorded at various locations throughout their 2013 American tour, 2 features predominantly Vicious Rumors classics, along with a couple new songs. What jumps out most is how “clean” the live recordings are … exclude the spoken words and occasional fan applause, and 2 could likely pass for a studio quality “Greatest Hits” release. A great introduction for fans unfamiliar with Vicious Rumors, and top shelf material overall.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
