( votes)Teramaze hails from Australia, and Esoteric Symbolism is the band’s 4th release. As you can tell from the album title, Teramaze’s backdrop is rooted in Progressive Metal … but those roots stay shallow within Esoteric Symbolism, instead leaning more towards Melodic Metal. Like most bands that incorporate Progressive Metal elements, Teramaze offers nice change-ups and plenty of variety within this new release, making it at a minimum an interesting listen. Many Progressive bands opt to create lengthy, epic tracks, but Teramaze tends to get in to songs and out before they grow hair … a welcomed trait to be sure.
