( votes)Men Without Armies is the North American 3-piece brainchild of decorated (though youthful) guitarist Brennan Dylan, and the band has recently delivered a 6-song self-titled EP. Dylan offers an interesting and solid performance throughout the EP’s 6 songs, ripping out riffs and solos that mesh the boundaries of Traditional, Neo-classical, Power, and Thrash Metal. Each of the songs on the EP are well-produced and result in forming an impressive wall of sound. The vocals hinge more on the Modern Metal side, if not Grunge-influenced, and quite frankly, don’t fit ideally with the soundscapes delivered and are the EP’s only weakness.
