48 Hours are a Modern Hard Rock 3-piece band from the UK formed in 2012, and Recovery is their debut. Modern Metal/Hard Rock has a certain discern-able sound with “un”discern-able clarity — traits pervasive throughout the subgenre — and 48 Hours falls right into that mold. That said, if you’re a fan of this subgenre, then Recovery is likely to be a major find for you in 2014. However, many Metal enthusiasts will likely view this album as vanilla and lacking innovation … the musicianship takes a distant back seat to the vocals, whose patterns are consistently similar from track-to-track.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
