Epysode is essentially a one-man Progressive Metal outfit, headed up by Samuel Arkan, and Fantasmagoria is his second studio release. Arkan invokes the talents of numerous well-known names in the Progressive Metal subgenre to help tell the album’s story, and unique to Epysode, Arkan had all guest musicians record their parts in the Noise Factory Studio (in Belgium) instead of having them record separately and then trying to mix all of the different recording styles together.  The result is an album with outstanding production quality, but as a whole Fantasmagoria starts out strong then loses momentum at the halfway point.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
