We Are Legend is an unusually named Progressive/Power Metal band from Germany, and Rise Of The Legend is their debut release. Musically, We Are Legend incorporates a good amount of keyboards, which is actually a nice and somewhat unique touch that works well within their musical soundscape. Also a bit unique is the “show tune” feel to many of their songs … when listening, you get the feel that these songs were recorded as live “broadway productions” rather than conventional studio compositions. Overall, that oddity doesn’t work particularly well, taking away from what could otherwise be a quality Progressive release.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album.
