The Giuntini Project, headed up by Italian guitarist Aldo Giuntini, is releasing IV, once again with former Black Sabbath vocalist Tony Martin. IV contains 13 tracks of clean, crisp, well-recorded Melodic Heavy Metal that simply sounds great – a testament to producer Dario Mollo, who has knocked out his own fair share of quality guitar-driven Metal over his career. Giuntini provides a number of catchy riffs and well-configured solos, and Martin handles the microphone admirably. All of the key ingredients are there, but somehow the album is lacking an edge or attitude or insightfulness to make it a truly memorable release.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
