Stone Sour is a commercially successful Modern Hard Rock band from Iowa, USA, and the House Of Gold & Bones 2-part series was conceived by vocalist/lyricist Corey Taylor2012 unveiled Part 1, and Part 2 in 2013 closes out the story of a troubled man trapped in a dream state, who faces decisions impacting whether or not he ever wakes.  Taylor delivers an emotional performance, but the story line dominates at the expense of catchy music and melodies – a common concept album drawback.  The production quality’s outstanding and the story line’s interesting, but all other aspects of this release come through unspectacular.

He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
