On a rainy morning at the 2004 Sweden Rock Festival, Pink Cream 69 defied the weather gods and kicked off the second day with a thunderous performance, much like their aptly named album, Thunderdome. Despite the downpour, an enthusiastic crowd gathered to soak in the electrifying energy of the band. After the show, Metal Express Radio caught up with the ever-charismatic vocalist David Readman backstage. In this interview, we dive into the details of their festival performance, the art of crafting the perfect setlist for a shorter show, and David’s intriguing side project with guitar virtuoso Stephan Forté, Adagio, which has produced two albums.
