In 1997 Samael released Passage and went on tour with Rotting Christ and Moonspell to support the new album. Since the previous album Ceremony of Opposites the band had replaced their drummer with a drum machine. How does that work out live? Vorph tells it all here. He also shares what it’s like travelling in one tour bus with three bands, why Samael keeps on releasing EPs after the new full length album is out and why the new album was given the title Passage. Did you know that the police confiscated Samael’s master tapes for the recordings and didn’t return them? They did, and Vorph seems to be calm about it.
