REVOLTONS – Celestial Violence

Revoltons is a band out of Italy that have been around for quite a long time. Formed in 1991, they recently put out a new, full-length album on Sleazy Rider Records with new singer, Antonio and guitarist, Carlo. Both joining the band back in 2022. The new album, Celestial Violence, is a great mix of fast guitars, intricate solos, fast and steady drumbeats and vocals that have great range. Antonio goes from a clean pitch on “Escape or Drown” to a deeper growl on “The Darkfall.” On “The Darkfall” he switches back and forth giving it a more Heavy Metal sound.

One of the standout aspects of Celestial Violence is the impeccable musicianship displayed by the band. The guitar work is very fast, with intricate riffs, blistering solos, and dynamic harmonies that showcase both technical precision and emotional depth. The rhythm section provides a solid foundation, with thunderous bass lines and tight, intricate drumming that adds a powerful and driving force to the music.

Lyrically, Celestial Violence delves into thought-provoking and existential themes, exploring the depths of the human psyche and our relationship with the vast universe.
