Hard rock band House of Lords were formed in 1987 by keyboardist Gregg Giuffria. Before grunge took over the world by storm, the band put out three studio albums: their 1988 self-titled debut, Sahara (1990), which featured the popular cover of Blind Faith’s “Can’t Find My Way Home” and “Remember My Name”, and Demons Down (1992). They split for almost a decade before reforming in the early 2000s. With a revamped lineup, House of Lords have consistently put out new music, through Frontiers Music, that both embraces the modern age and stays true to their classic rock sound of the ’80s. Giuffria isn’t with them anymore, but their current keyboardist, Mark Mangold, fills his shoes perfectly.
Lana Teramae of Metal Express Radio had a chat with vocalist James Christian about House of Lords’ latest album, Full Tilt Overdrive (2024). They also talked about the rebirth of the band, his favorite tour that he’s ever done, and the importance of staying healthy.
Full Tilt Overdrive will be released through Frontiers Music Srl on October 11, 2024.
