Continuing in the tradition of 80s Thrash Metal bands like Megadeth, Metallica and Exodus we have the debut 5 song EP from the UK’s hot new band War Grave. The album features a guest appearance by Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens (ex-Judas Priest, KK’s Priest) on the track “Witch”, as he duels with War Grave vocalist Roman Kantoch (ex-More). The twin guitar attack of Trent Powell and Stuart Layne shred from the opening notes of “War Graves”, and never let up.

Long Live Thrash Metal

While bringing their own touch to classic 80s Thrash Metal, War Grave sounds right at home with the style that rocketed the 80s Trash Metal scene into the forefront. The EP was well produced by Charlie Wilson Jr. (Torchbearer, Graven Image) at London’s Monolith Studios, and is a powerful group of songs to keep metal heads head banging all the way through.

Final Notes

War Grave has given us a very strong EP, showing us what’s to come, and it’s a promise of music that keeps the Thrash Metal flag flying high. The vocal duet between Roman Kantoch and guest Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens is the first single, and a great track (see the video below). The War Grave EP is available on CD and digital formats and in exclusive bundles including the new War Grave patch and ‘Witch’ t-shirt, which is a bundle worth adding to your collection. Watch for more great things from the UK’s next great Thrash Metal band, and support these newcomers by grabbing a copy of this excellent five song EP today.
