Steve Mann first came to notice in 1980 when he formed Lionheart with Dennis Stratton (ex-Iron Maiden) and Rocky Newton. Steve also made a huge splash as the guitar/keyboard player in the McAuley Schenker Group, co-writing the huge hit “Anytime”. Steve continues to play with Michael Schenker in MSG, but has not left Lionheart behind. In fact, Lionheart has made a great comeback starting in 2016, and are now releasing some of their best work to date with the new album The Grace of a Dragonfly.
Metal Express Radio’s Bryce van Patten had a great chat with Steve Mann, and they talked about the new Lionheart record, working with vocalist Lee Small, producing albums, Michael Schenker, the late great Ted McKenna, and a whole lot more!
