The local Heavy Metal scene in Portland, Oregon has been on the rise, and with great bands coming to town at smaller venues it’s a real treat for fans. Sacramento based Graveshadow played at Dante’s Inferno to support their new album The Uncertain Hour, giving a great performance that was packed with energy and excitement. There’s no bad seat in the house at Dante’s, and the close quarters makes for an exciting evening when the band pulls out all of the stops like Graveshadow did.
Headbanging and Flying Hair
Founding guitarists William Lloyd Walker and Aaron Robitsch treated the crowd to precision harmonies and pyrotechnic leads, while new vocalist vocalist Rachl “Raxx” Quinn owned the stage with her vocal prowess and headbanging energy. The rhythm section of new bassist Luci Rae and new drummer Bones Padilla were locked in, laying down a thunderous sound. The band pulled a good portion of their set from the new album, showcasing the haunting vocals of Rachl “Raxx” Quinn. Graveshadow delivered an excellent performance to the metal heads in Portland, and made some new fans along the way. If you get a chance to catch them live, make it happen!
