This week’s Guest DJ Show is hosted by DON MANCUSO, guitarist for LIPS TURN BLUE.
LIPS TURN BLUE, formerly known in the Upstate New York region as the popular club act, DDRIVE, has regrouped and returned with a new name, a brilliant debut album, a worldwide record contract, and a new member in singer/musician Iggy Marino.
The band (nicknamed LTB) also includes keyboardist Eric Bieber, bassist Mike Mullane, and drummer Roy Stein. They recently released their debut record on May 6th. The release is a big slab of Melodic Rock and features the vocals of the late Phil Naro (Talas).
Don himself hails from Rochester, NY. He started his music career with the rock band Black Sheep, which also featured vocalist Lou Gramm. Black Sheep broke up in 1976 when Lou Gramm left to play with Mick Jones in Foreigner.
Tune in to hear Don play ten of his favorite rock tracks followed by a block of music off LIPS TURN BLUE’s debut album!
