Thanks For The Memories
earMusic and Annihilator recently announced a multi-year initiative to rerelease the majority of the band’s back catalog. The reissued albums will come in special configurations complete with bonus tracks and rare, never before heard music. To kick off the campaign, Annihilator revisited their 2007 all-star release Metal. Waters put a fresh coat of paint on it by adding the mighty vocals of Stu Block (Into Eternity) and the always devastating drum work of Dave Lombardo (Testament, ex-Slayer).
The updated version is titled appropriately Metal II. I had the chance to speak with Annihilator guitarist and founder Jeff Waters shortly after the album’s release. Jeff is never short for words and this interview is no different. It is full of revelations that you don’t want to miss.
Highlights Include
