The Wild One Unleashes The Fire Inside
On the heels of her highly-praised 2019 album No Control, legendary Rock icon Suzi Quatro teams up with her son Richard Tuckey once again for her 17th studio album The Devil in Me. Quatro is not one to just sit around. For the last 57 years she’s been rocking live shows around the globe with her upbeat and sassy classics “Can The Can,” “48 Crash,” “Devil Gate Drive,” “If You Can’t Give Me Love,” “She’s In Love With You” and “The Wild One.”
Suzi wasn’t going to let a lockdown get in the way of her having a good time. Inspiration struck and it didn’t take much arm twisting for Richard to get her back in the studio. The result is 12 songs that show off the rockin’, bluesy, and soulful sides of Quatro. Despite its diversity, the songs fit together like a perfect puzzle, and each one could easily stand on their own. I had the honor of speaking with Suzi Quatro about The Devil in Me.
