One Shot is the debut solo album by Pretty Maids vocalist Ronnie Atkins. Atkins never really had the desire to record a solo album, but after he was given the news his lung cancer had progressed to stage 4, he decided to give it a go. Although getting the news that his cancer was incurable hit him hard, Ronnie resolved to pick himself up, pursue his goals and dreams, and continue living. Ronnie figured since touring for the last Pretty Maids album Undress Your Madness wasn’t going to happen, he might as well hit the studio and try something different. I had the chance to speak with Ronnie ahead of the album’s release.
