Matterhorn is a metal band from Adelaide, Australia. They emerged in 2009 because metal is all about the riff, the feeling, the sound, the urge and all they wanted was to deliver pure unadulterated heavy freakin’ metal to assault your senses! Playing a lot here and there during the years , it was high time Matterhorn exploded with their firs full-length album and 2018 was the perfect time for it. So, the band harnessed the heavy metal riff and channeled it into their debut album, Crimes Of Man!

Petar is a screener here at Metal Express Radio and makes sure that the new music we play on the radio is pure quality! He's been surrounded by music since birth. Both his parents graduated from music academy and then spent many years teaching in a music-profile high school. Petar himself discovered Rock music when he was a little kid back in the late 80s. His dad had lots of tracks on tapes, including Rainbow (DIO period). Later he and his brother bought some audio cassettes of The Beatles, Queen, Europe, AC/DC, etc. What really made him believe in Rock forever was the Deep Purple's live album Come Hell Or High Water (1994). Nowadays his preferences in Rock/Metal vary from Muddy Waters to Pantera, all the way through any sub genres you might think of.
