HELL IN THE CLUB – See You On The Dark Side

Italian rockers Hell In The Club are back in full force with See You On The Dark Side. With a modern day combo of Glam Metal and Hard Rock, Hell In The Club are one of the leaders in the Glam rebirth that the metal scene has witnessed in the last 5+ years. Other acts like Kissin’ Dynamite, CrashDiet, Santa Cruz, Striker, and Crucified Barbara, along with Hell In The Club are leading the charge in a return to fun, headbanging, face melting, guitar driven, hooky Glam Metal.

See You On The Dark Side gets things going right out of the gate with “We Are On Fire”. This is definitely one of the stronger releases from the band, and represents the overall album well. The tracks bounce from tongue-in-cheek numbers like “Houston, We’ve Got No Money”, to anthemic, poppy, calls to action like “Showtime”.

Being the band’s 4th full-length release, we would typically expect to find Hell In The Club trying to be a bit more experimental than their earlier work, however that seems to not be the case here. Some fans felt that their 2nd album, Devil On My Shoulder, was a bit of a misstep, and perhaps they are trying to stick to what worked so well for them in the beginning. Regardless, See You On The Dark Side is a consistently fun and hard rocking release.
