SAINTED SINNERS – Sainted Sinners

American-bred vocalist David Reece (Bonfire, Accept) has assembled a new band under the moniker Sainted Sinners, which has just released their self-titled debut. Reece has one of those voices that was undoubtedly made for catchy Hard Rock … he’s easy to listen to and has a very smooth delivery regardless of what range he’s singing in. With that said, Sainted Sinners comes across very similar to what has been delivered by The Damn Yankees, Night Ranger, and (to some degree) Whitesnake during their respective heydays.

Although you’re not going to hear anything “new” or mind-blowing on this debut, you do get a solid, catchy album from beginning to end. There’s no mega-hit on this album like “Don’t Tread On Me”, “Sister Christian”, or “Slide It In” from the aforementioned influences, but this album as a whole is as strong as anything that Sainted Sinners’ predecessors ever put out.
