This week’s Guest DJ Show is hosted by vocalist Elina and bassist Julia from the melodic metal band called ANGEL NATION. The band made their first new release in over 2 years with the Rock anthem “Do It Anyway” on 23rd Sept.
The new single was mixed and mastered by Jay Ruston & Paul Logus (Anthrax, Steel Panther) and will be released as a special edition digipack cd available from Nuclear Blast Records as well as in downloadable and streamable formats. The single also features previously unreleased track ‘Devil’s Voice Inside’ and a live version of ‘Never Ending’.
Angel Nation was created in 2011, in London by Finnish singer Elina Siirala, with a passion for songwriting and self expression in the realm of Rock & Metal. The band has shared stages with the likes of Megadeth, Lacuna Coil and Van Canto, as well as headlining shows in both the UK and Finland.
The band’s 2014 debut ‘Tears of Lust’ was met with critical acclaim across the board. The 2016 single ‘Do It Anyway’ will be the first release from the, as yet untitled, follow up album and continues the bands unique blend of retro and modern Rock/Metal sounds.
