( votes)This could have been a nice, interesting and original attempt to expand the horizon of musical realms with a new tint of Metal: the blend of two of its most successful styles, Thrash and Doom, without arriving in Death Metal regions. Unfortunately, the only thing that remains after a few disappointing spins is the aspect of originality, but what doesn’t work is the application of doomy riffing to thrashy sounds and aggressive attitude to slow beats.
On top of that singer Brian Lawrence sounds strangely removed from the band and does not fit into the general sound. Occasional attempts at introducing a bit of diversity appear unsophisticated and crude. The best songs are hidden at the end of the album, but at that time the audience will have moved on to more promising hunting grounds.
