In the early ‘70s, Norwegian-based Progressive Hard Rock act Aunt Mary was a formidable force on the scene as any band. However, they disbanded after a small handful of albums and before achieving international stardom. Now, after surviving their fair share of setbacks, Aunt Mary is back with a much awaited set of originals, appropriately entitled New Dawn. The band plays Progressive Rock/Hard Rock in the true spirit of the word “progressive”. It’s fair to say no band today sounds like Aunt Mary … Rock, Blues, Grooves … even a harmonica blended together into a completely refreshing and infectious soundscape.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
