Fireleaf is a new band out of Germany formed by a few Stormwitch chums with the talents of Bastian Rose at the microphone. Their debut is entitled Behind The Mask, and it’s filled with quality Power/Epic/Traditional Metal from beginning to end. Metal enthusiasts who enjoy a “standard” twin guitar attack (manned by Ralf Stoney and Aki Reissmann) will find plenty to bang their heads to when listening to the 10 tracks comprising Behind The Mask. Overall, Fireleaf is a promising band that appears to have much to offer to the Metal community — their debut album is worthy of your attention.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.

  1. Yes, seemingly a very promising album. 10 songs, about some phenomen- other people would call phantom-war! I think, working on this topic is the right choice! I will hear into it, sooner or later…
