Honeymoon Disease is a band out of Sweden, and their offering is entitled The Transcendence. With front-woman Jenna making up half of the female representation for Honeymoon Disease, the band has a similar make-up as the band Heart did when they hit the charts back in the ‘70s. Honeymoon Disease indeed seems intent on keeping the sanctity of the ‘70s intact with their part Stoner part Garage Band style of music. Overall, most times it works, but with the typical “tough girl” vocal approach which sounds all too familiar, there’s nothing particularly new here that will knock your socks off.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
